Experience

  • Practised as Advocate in Civil as well as Criminal matters from June 1978 to June 1980.
  • Joined Judiciary on 16.06.1980 and worked as Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate First Class, Senior Civil Judg, District Judge and Principal District Judge till 31.12.2012.
  • Worked as Principal District Judge in Banaskantha, Surat, Navsari and Dangs Districts.
  • Rendered many important judgments in Civil matters, Sessions cases, Motor Accident Claim cases, Land Acquisition references, etc.
  • Also worked as Chairman of District Legal Services Authority in various Districts.
  • Worked as Additional Registrar in Gujarat High Court.
  • Worked as Law Secretary and Remembrances in Legal Affairs to the Government of Gujarat from January 2007 to January 2011.
  • Appointed as a Member of the Justice H. S. Bedi Monitoring Authority.
  • Attended Seminar as one of the best Practice Judge of India at National Judicial Academy, Bhopal.
  • Attended several Seminars, Colloquiums, Workshops etc. at National Judicial Academy, Bhopal and other places.
